A Barladong Life is based on an 1872 best seller!
Based on the best-selling memoir An Australian Parsonage, actor Sarah McNeill brings to life York in the 1860s, through Janet Millet’s own words, accompanied by the evocative sounds of the cello played live by Anna Sarcich.
Janet's memoir was full of her thoughts, observations and experiences of life as an early pioneering settler.
Janet Millett:A Barladong Life is performed in Trinity Church where her husband was the vicar.
