Myths and Legends to end a legendary year!

It has been an extraordinary year, so we ended this year's storytelling with stories that remind us that nothing is ever really new in the world.

Neil Gaiman has an extraordinary ability to write fantastical tales firmly rooted in the everyday.

His stories featured heavily in Myths and Legends.

With readers Andrew Hale and Annie Murtagh Monks, the stories that featured in our 2020 finale were:

Touch by Josephine Newman – an emerging writer working with Centre for Stories

Chivalry by Neil Gaiman from Smoke and Mirrors

Inventing Aladdin by Neil Gaiman from Fragile Things

Director’s Cut By Etgar Keret

(Translated, from the Hebrew, by Jessica Cohen.)

We Can Get Them For You Wholesale by Neil Gaiman, Smoke and Mirrors

Blue Stones by Isak Dinesan

I Like Your Shoes by Kevin Brockmeier

The Naked Truth (author unknown 19th century legend)
