Writer's pictureLit Live: Sarah McNeill

Love Letters worth the wait!

We had to postpone Love Letters in Words and Music in June because of the sudden lockdown, but we rescheduled with two performances on July 20 and had two fabulous shows. The weather was dire so a couple of people didn't brave the storms but those who did, like Robyn and Elena agreed it was "a fantastic night out". Nick Maclaine and Sarah McNeill read love letters through the ages from poets, actors, writers and wartime letters.

Harriet Marshall wowed everyone with her powerful renditions of arias from Madam Butterfly and Kate Miller-Heidke's The Rabbits. Robert Hofmann delivered some beautiful love songs in German and French. We loved performing in Kidogo Arthouse - the candlelit warmth countered the wild weather outside.
