Lit Live's staged version of Orson Welles' 1938 radio play, War of the Worlds has taken Perth by storm!
Staged in the wonderful new Venue 360 in Burswood, the set is full of Foley - the sound effects created for radio. Four actors, two Foley desks, one dunny, a drill, a broken violin and a box of rocks... together we recreate the original radio play which brought America to a stand-still in 1938. The actors play dozens of roles and create all the sound effects with a bizarre array of instruments.
Producer and actor Sarah McNeill was joined on stage by director and actor Greg McNeill and wonderfully inventive and creative performers Will O'Mahony and Ben Sutton.
The season is selling out!
