There were whoops, cheers and standing ovations at the end of a wonderful evening at Stala Contemporary art gallery. Among the beautiful artwork by Iranian-born artist Nazila Jahangir, we performed a moving collection of stories about HOME. Where is home, what does home mean? Memories of childhood homes and where does the heart lie when you move to a new home? Guitarist and singer Ben Bulla played a repertoire ranging from Bob Dylan to Bossa Nova to Flamenco and Thomas Papathanassiou gave a moving rendition of his own-written work Looming the Memory. Greg McNeill made everyone laugh with memories of Nunawading and Sarah brought a tear to eyes with her story about old, heart-broken Italian migrant Mrs Bettini.

Stala is a wonderful space to perform in.
